I wents on a traveling all the way around a big lake. The problem with big lakes is that they have lots of water, and I don’t likes water very much.
No Daddy! No! Don’t make me go in!
But I do likes sand, so I waded through some waters to get to a sand bar. It wasn’t so bad.
Then, next thing I knew I was swimmings!
It was kind of scary at first, but I kind of like swimmings now. But if Mommy and Daddy thinks that will make me like baths, they are kidding themselves.
Oh Ty, swimmings isn’t anything like baths! I like swimmings, because you get to play with the waves, and chase them, and stuff, and mymom says that I get all stinky when I go swimmings! She says “you smell like lake…ew..” So that’s good. After bath, she says “oh, now you smell nice!” And bath means they take away all my nice smells that I worked so hard to get!
Swimmings is fun. Baths is not. Just remember that.
Glad you had fun in the Biglake! I like the Michigan Lake too. Maybe I’ll get to play in it again this year. I really like playing in the sand and getting all muddy the very best, though.
Grandma is proud of you TY, and like I said on Facebook, the Molly, who was a natural water dog, would be proud too. It looks like you have mastered the doggy-paddle stroke.
