Fencing the Farms

Hmmmm… Daddy put funny fences around my earthworm farms

I can still see inside, but I can’t jump in there to check on my worms close up anymore.  It makes digging them up and taste testing the habitat a bit difficult.

I wonder why they did that?

Ty, maybe your daddy is trying to keep your earthworms from escaping while you’re asleep.

Oooh Zena! I bet Daddy did do that to keep them in. I’ll just have to dig for them around the edges. Tweetypie, earthworms are tasty! But you have to get them fresh!

You are so lucky to live there. I haven’t seen a single earthworm since we moved to the desert. Don’t think they like the old dry hard dirt here.

Hi Zed! Have you looked for lizard friends in the desert? I would really like some lizard friends to play chase with!

Don’t worry, Ty, the thing is that Moms and Dads don’t understand the way we help them. Because that’s what we do. Isn’t it?

Good point Pirulo. Just this morning I tried to help Mommy keep the garden clean by bringing some extra sticks inside that were on it. But she just took them back out there!

Oh Ty that is too bad that you can’t help dig up the earth worms any more. You will just have to find another place to dig things up for now.
Hope you have a wonderful day.
