Mommy Found an OpenSky!
Posted on November 19th, 2009 1 commentMy Mommy has her very own bloggies at Beauty and Fashion Tech, Girl Gloss, and Holiday Makeup about cosmetics. That is a fancy word for the funny face paints that Mommy likes. I would like face paints too, but I’m just a little dog with no tail and Mommy won’t let me wear makeup. She wasn’t very happy that time I ate her lip gloss either.
Anyway, Mommy joined a shoppings site called OpenSky as a shopkeeper! OpenSky connects shoppers with experts and the products they love and use. At OpenSky, expert “shopkeepers” recommend and stock their favorite items—items that they can stand behind because they truly love and highly recommend them. I’m so exciteds that my Mommy is an expert!
I looked and I didn’t see any shops for little dogs with no tails, but there are lots of neat shops on gardening, and I am an avid gardener dog with my very own earthworm farms! I also saw food and cooking shops there, and everyone knows that little dogs with no tails really like to eat!
Just to be sure that his post isn’t all about Mommy, and because little dogs with no tails don’t share very well, and that includes sharing bloggy spaces, here is a picture of me with one of my own garden earthworm farms. Maybe Mommy will buys me and the earthworms some garden toys for it from OpenSky.
Anyhoo, Please come and check out Mommy’s shop and the other shops at OpenSky. You can find Mommy’s shop here: Beauty and Fashion Tech on OpenSky.

Mommy’s Marathon Race
Posted on October 12th, 2009 1 commentMy Mommy ran the Chicago Marathon in 5:30:14 on Sunday to raise moneys for PAWS Chicago. I’m just a little dog with no tail, so I couldn’t go along, but Daddy saw this corgi watching the race at mile 18.
Here is Mommy running up the hill at mile 26. She is wearing the light blue hat:
Mommy also saw more doggies after the race at the PAWS charity tent. Here she is with two PAWS doggies. Mommy says she looks goofy.
When Mommy got home, she was tired and stiff, so I tried to be good and not do too many jumps on her. I licked her ankles though. Mommies taste good, especially after they have been running!
Mommy gave her medal to the Molly. The Molly is a shelter doggie, and when we all learned that she had cancer, Mommy dedicated her race to Molly.
Mommy has raised a little over $500 for PAWS Chicago and has until November 1, 2009, to try to reach her goal of $600. So you can still help by donating here!

Harvesting My Garden
Posted on August 11th, 2009 8 commentsI has a lettuce and tomato garden. Mommy made it for me. She put peppers, cucumbers, asparaguses, okras, peas, broccolis, brussels sprouts and berries in it too. But I just eats the tomatoes and lettuces. Mommy doesn’t like it when I taste test things too much though. I don’t know why.
Here are my favorite tomatoes. I likes them because they are little like me and they don’t have tails.
I like to help Mommy pick the little tomatoes. I let her pick the big ones.
When I pick a tomato, I run with it to the house so I can hide it where it will be safe from both Mommy and the Molly. But sometimes Mommy shuts the door and that messes up my tomato absconding plans.
I don’t know why Mommy’s shoe is in that picture. I’ll be sure to take it and hide it away somewhere so that it won’t be in the next one.

Mommy’s Half Marathon Race
Posted on August 6th, 2009 4 commentsMommy ran a Half Marathon last Sunday as a charity runner for PAWS Chicago. Here she is crossing the finish line and with her medal. Her chip time was 2:32:37. I’m really proud of my Mommy. I can do lots of runs around the yard, but I can’t walk more than a couple of blocks when I go out with Mommy.

When Mommy got home, I taste tested her medal. I bet I could make the ribbon look prettier by putting some shreds in it!
I tried it on for size too.
Then I tried to take it away to my closet so I could work on fixing the ribbon, but Mommy made me give it back.
Mommy plans to run the Chicago Marathon for PAWS in October. You can donate for her charity cause here.

Mommy’s Visit with Arrrgh the Pirate Cat at PAWS Chicago
Posted on August 3rd, 2009 7 commentsMommy visited PAWS Chicago last week for a pre-race pawsta party for the PAWS charity runners. Mommy ran the Rock-n-Roll Chicago Half Marathon for them and she is running the Chicago Marathon in October. I am Mommy’s doggie publicist. You can donate for her cause here.
While at PAWS, Mommy visited with some homeless doggies and kitties. Here is a little doggie who got neutered like I did, so he is wearing a cone while he waits for a home. PAWS also has a low income spay/ neuter program and feral cat spay and release program.
Here is one of the kitty rooms. PAWS has very nice rooms for their kitties while they wait for homes. Their whole facility is cageless.
And here is Arrrgh the Pirate Cat. That isn’t really his name. It is just what Mommy would name him if Daddy would let us take him home, because he only has one eye like a pirate. But Daddy said no, we can’t have a pirate cat. Mommy says he better be adopted by the next pawsta party or he just might have to come live with us! Mommy really, really likes him.
Mommy enjoyed visiting PAWS and getting encouragement for her race!
I’ll post more about Mommy’s Half Marathon race later this week.
