Cicada Friends
Posted on September 18th, 2009 6 commentsI has lots of buggy friends in my yard. My favorites come out at night. That is when I chase the moth friends in the grass and when my cicada friends come out on the trees. Here is one of my cicada friends coming out to play.
I find where the earthworms live at night too. But I’m a smart little dog with no tail, so I knows that they are not insects. Cicadas are insects though. Maybe I can be am entimybugologist little dog with no tail when I grow up!

Mystery Tree Shredder Revealed!
Posted on August 14th, 2009 4 commentsYesterday I told you about the mystery tree shredder. Here I am with one of the bark shreds that it left.
It was a Grey Squirrel! Grey Squirrels shred bark to get at the moisture and sap underneath, we learned more about it at Scary Squirrel World. They can damage trees and even kill little ones. It is a good thing that our trees are big so that they can handle it. I fear, however, that if they don’t stop, my squirrel friends might start getting taxi rides to the riverside park the same way that my chipmunk friends do.

Bad Bunny Friend
Posted on July 27th, 2009 1 commentThis bunny friend visited my front yard. Isn’t she cute? I likes to hop like a bunny sometimes.
But the bunny friend was really bad! She made a mess! I don’t even make yard messes that big!
I think Daddy isn’t going to be happy about this!
Update: I was right. Daddy was not at all happy with the bad bunny.

Moving My Friends
Posted on July 21st, 2009 5 commentsMy chipmunk friends keep moving away. Daddy says they need better accommodations than under our hot tub, so he helps them move by giving them a ride in a special taxi. He even gives them a graham cracker snack in it before they go.
They gets to move free of charge to river front property with a big park.
Here is Daddy helping a chipmunk friend out of the taxi. I hopes they like living at River Crossing
I’m going to miss my chipmunk friends, although they did steal some of Mommy’s tomatoes and I thought only I was allowed to do that.
