The Leaves Are Leaving
Posted on November 16th, 2009 5 commentsI worked very hard to give the tree back its leaves, but I couldn’t keep up. Then, Daddy didn’t help the matter by piling them all up and takings them away! He put my favorite sticks in there too. So I had go in for a rescue.

How can I keeps Daddy from takings the leaves and my sticks? The trees need their leaves back and they gave me their leftover sticks as presents. I don’t think Daddy should takes them all away.

Ty, you see how all the leaves turned brown and crinkly? They’re supposed to be green and smooth. Daddy is just sending them away for a little while to get the green put back on. It may take a few months, because lots of other daddies are doing the same thing, but you’ll wake up one morning to see that he put them back in the tree for you.

I guess if they are going to be put back laters that is OK. Plus the trees will still give me new sticks as presents. They do that all the time!

Ty, the leaves are going away on vacation, but soon there will be something new on the ground for you to play with! I don’t want to spoil your surprise, but when it comes, you will be one tremendously happy little dog with no tail!

Oh Ty, I get the most enjoyment at reading your blog. Like everyone says, those leaves will be back and be in much better shape. And there will be even more sticks. So just try to be patient and it looks like you had a blast playing in that pile of leaves.
